Growing up in Connecticut, fall was always my favorite time of year. We picked apples, drank cider, bundled up in cozy sweaters and watched the leafs change from a summer green to rustic shades of red and yellow. We were *basic* before being basic was even a thing!
One of my favorite things to do this time of year is decorate my apartment. I love finding fun and affordable pieces to help bring this season to life. I’m an avid fan of Etsy, Target and local shops and I’ve gathered together 7 of my fall must-haves below!

2. Velvet Pumpkins: I went to Target a few weeks back and found the sweetest little velvet pumpkins in the $1 section and (after letting out a minor shriek) completely stocked up. 4. Wall Art: If you have a good storage area at home, investing in seasonal art can be a great way to help you transition. 5. Comfy Cozy Blanket: Everyone needs a comfy throw for fall. There are a ton of great options out there, but this deep red chenille one is a favorite and it’s on sale today for only $14!
