Happy spring friends! Hope this warm(ish) Austin weather is treating you well and you’ve been able to get out and about. I personally love this time of year–I consider it prime time for patio wining and dining.

It’s been 15 years since the world was introduced to Ron Burgundy {#ifeelold} and to celebrate the Rolling Roadshow is hosting the film at Republic Square Park. Stop by for food trucks, a cash bar and plenty of laughs.

Double Dare Live
Did anyone else out there watch Double Dare on Nick (nick nick nick na nick nick nick…Nick-elodeon)? If so, you’re in luck! The show is now on the road and it’s coming to Austin. It features all of the pie plastering, slime soaking we’ve come to love and is hosted by Marc Summers himself.

Austin Reggae Festival

Austin Food and Wine Festival
I have yet to make it to the Food and Wine Festival, but it’s on the top of my bucket list. The cost is a little steep, but you get a lot of bang for your buck! The cost covers admission for two days and includes food from over 50+ top restaurants and chefs, cooking demos, guided tasting sessions from master sommeliers, mixologists, winemakers and brewmasters and so much more. If you’re a foodie, this event is a must!

Eeyores Birthday at Pease Park
One of the coolest and weirdest traditions in Austin, Eeyores Birthday party is a free event for all ages. People are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes, bring their instruments to play live and be prepared to meet Eeyore and wish him a happy birthday. The event features food, drinks, and a park filled with artists and vendors offering face painting, henna and temporary tattoos.
