When Ben and I first moved into our Clarksville apartment, we were so excited to hear that Bar Peached would be opening in our backyard. As big fans of The Peached Tortilla {same owner}, we knew this new spot would not disappoint. Within a few days of opening their doors, we made a reservation and mentally prepared for a night filled with margs, tacos and Asian-inspired comfort food!
The restaurant is situated in an old house with a bright blue door that just screams historic Clarksville. The eccentric spot features a cozy bar, indoor dining area with hardwood floors and shiplap walls and a large outdoor patio. A heritage tree is front and center that’s draped in string lights and provides a subtle ambiance to those enjoying a beverage out on the deck.
The food is in one word, incredible. Seriously, everything we tried was amazing. We were pretty ambitious and went with Pork Buns {life changing}, the Chili Crab Toast and Charred Brussels for the appetizer round.
Then, ding ding, round two was up and we decided on the BBQ Brisket tacos, Shrimp Flautas and Confit Duck Foldies. Before we knew it, we were stuffed and didn’t have a chance to bring it home with round three. If we did, we would have gone with the Birthday Cake dessert–picture cake ice cream, cake, whipped cream, mochi, sprinkles and a candle–all in a dish big enough for multiple people to share! Ugh, excuse me while I go Favor myself one.
Overall the food had the most amazing flavors and the restaurant was intimate and beautifully decorated. This would be the perfect spot to catch up with girlfriends, enjoy date night out on the patio or even have a small group dinner to celebrate a special occasion!
