Last weekend I woke up early and headed to the South Congress Bridge in downtown Austin to grab a few photos! The weather was going to be perfect that day and so I knew it was a great opportunity to head out with the tripod!
The view from this bridge is one of my favorites in the city. From the middle, you can see the high rises of downtown, the beauty and serenity of Ladybird Lake and a little sneak peak at the epicenter of the “keep Austin weird” saying – South Congress.
If you’re looking to check out this spot, head to the Austin Statesman lot for easy parking. You can walk up a small set of stairs from there that lead directly to the bridge. I would suggest going early – I was there around 8am and it was perfect!
