Last week, Ben and I jumped on a train and went up to Central Park to grab some shots for a partnership I had with Carmen Gran Reserva! We grabbed everything we would need for an afternoon picnic and pretty much all of the food and décor ended up coming from Trader Joes – the flowers, apple cider donuts, apples, and a cheese spread! Their snack items ended up being super affordable and perfect for something like this!
While I was planning this campaign, I looked online for where to set-up shop in Central Park. I went back and forth, but ultimately decided on the Cherry Hill/Bow Bridge area. I was so happy with this spot and how these shots turned out, so I wanted to share this location with you!
From the grass, you can get some iconic views of NYC including a view of the Bow Bridge and the pond (loved seeing people row by). There are a lot of different spots that you can set-up and the subtle incline of the hill gave everyone a good view! It’s also really easy to get to this area from the main road – only about a 5 minute walk – which is a plus when you’re carrying your gear!
Even though I loved our little corner of the park, I also wanted to share a few other spots that came in a close second. I’m definitely going to try these out in the upcoming months, but Cherry Hill will be a tough one to beat!
