If you are looking for a good spot to grab some quintessential NYC photos, Bethesda Terrance in Central Park is the perfect spot! There are so many great photo opportunities within a small area including:
- The Terrace and under the bridge (pictured here)
- In front of the Bethesda Fountain
- Close to the lake with the boathouse in the background (if you go in summer, you can grab a paddle boat nearby!)
- On the stairs going up the bridge
- And then at the top of the bridge you’ll find The Mall, a long walkway that looks beautiful in the fall!
Bethesda Terrance is also only a 5 minute walk from the main road, so super easy to get to for an early morning shoot!
If you go, I would suggest 7am during the spring/winter and 8am in the summer/fall. The sun will just be rising and will cast the prettiest hew for the backdrop of your photos!
