Where To Take Photos in Central Park: Bethesda Terrance

If you are looking for a good spot to grab some quintessential NYC photos, Bethesda Terrance in Central Park is the perfect spot! There are so many great photo opportunities within a small area including:

The Terrace and under the bridge (pictured here)
In front of the Bethesda Fountain
Close to the lake with the boathouse in the background (if you go in summer, you can grab a paddle boat nearby!)
On the stairs going up the bridge
And then at the top of the bridge you’ll find The Mall, a long walkway that looks beautiful in the fall!

Bethesda Terrance is also only a 5 minute walk from the main road, so super easy to get to for an early morning shoot!

If you go, I would suggest 7am during the spring/winter and 8am in the summer/fall. The sun will just be rising and will cast the prettiest hew for the backdrop of your photos!
