I’m a big fan of Airbnb’s when I travel – I just love how they’re all so unique and you really feel like you’re apart of the community that you’re staying in rather than a tourist. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love a good hotel too, but European hotels are notorious for their tiny beds, so after 2 nights of sleeping 3 to a full, we were excited to each have our own space 🙂
Our Airbnb was located in the heart of Paris on Rue Saint-Honoré. This is a main shopping area and so our front door was steps from Gucci, Chanel, Dior and Jimmy Choo. It made for some good window shopping lol. The area felt very safe and was really well-kept and quite since most of the shops shut down around 7. I will say that you had to walk a few minutes to get to a restaurant, café or grocery store, but it wasn’t inconvenient or anything!
The apartment itself was spacious for being in such a central location and had a gorgeous living-room filled with natural light, a quaint kitchen, and two bedrooms along with a sleeper sofa. It could technically sleep 5 which is great if you’re going with a bigger group! There was a kitchen stocked with everything you’d need to cook at home and it had the most amazing courtyard that was plush with greenery, had delicate string lights, and ample seating.
Sharing some photos from the listing below because I did an awful job at taking photos, but the last one is of our little happy hour out in the courtyard and it was just the best!
