I recently went to Paris for my Bachelorette party and it was just the most incredible week! I’d been to Paris before, but going with my two best friends was just so special and something I’ll never forgot.
My friend Brittany put together the itinerary and did SUCH a great job. Everything was perfectly planned out and I left with so many amazing memories. I saw a handful of questions come through on Instagram about what we did, where we went, etc. so I wanted to do one post that just had an overview of it all! I’ll also be working on some individual posts to highlight some of the activities we did and places we stayed.
Day 1
We had an overnight flight on Thursday, so we landed early Friday morning and decided to hit the ground running. Lindsay and I were on the same flight in, so we dropped our bags at the hotel (we stayed at Le Dokhan which was steps away from the Champs-ĆlysĆ©es and the Eiffel Tower) and then we walked over to Carette for breakfast before heading back to the hotel to change for the day.
Brittany’s flight got in around lunch time, so we met at Laduree on the Champs-ĆlysĆ©es for lunch. If you go, I would highly recommend making a reservation – there was quite a long line when we got there so we were glad we got to skip ahead!
After lunch, we walked around a bit – checked out some shops and the Arc de Triomphe (we actually found a great little intersection to take photos – it made it look like you were the only ones there!).
That night, we grabbed dinner and drinks near our hotel at Le Poincare, did a walk past The Eiffel Tower to see it light up on the hour and then headed home to get some sleep!
Day 2
We slept in a bit on day two and then got up and headed right to Montmartre for brunch at Le Maison Rose. Montmartre is the most charming hilltop district where you can find winding cobblestone streets, sweeping views of Paris, little shops and a lot of gorgeous art.
We headed straight to lunch and were quickly sat at our table. Now I will say, Le Maison Rose is one of those spots that you’ve probably see all over Instagram and Pinterest. Its pretty faƧade and cascading ivy have come across my feed more than once, so I was SO excited to have lunch there! While the building was beautiful, it was a madhouse around it. Our table was swarmed by tourists taking photos – it was an influencer paradise lol. While the food was good, I wouldn’t recommend eating there unless you come at an off hour and can beat the crowd! See below for my favorite photo of Lindsay trying to get a photo (the one waiving):
After lunch, we walked through Montmartre and made our way back down and into the city stopping at little shops and cafes along the way.
Once we were back, we made our way to Cafe Marley (located beneath the arcades of the Louvre) for afternoon tea! The restaurant was beautiful and had the best views. We grabbed a few snacks and had some bubbles and took in the sites around us. Once we were done, we walked around the grounds and over to the Jardin des Tulleries and Palais-Royal!
After that, we went back to the hotel to get ready for dinner and a night out at Crazy Horse! We decided to wear colorful wigs for fun, so we got all dressed up and headed to the Latin Quarter for dinner. We sat down at Huguette and had one of the best seafood meals! If you’re looking for somewhere with fresh food and ambiance, this is it.
Once dinner was done, we headed over to Crazy Horse for champagne and a burlesque show š
Day 3
Day 3 was just the best! We slept in this morning and woke up around noon, grabbed breakfast and then met up with Parisi Tours for our Tiny Car Tour! I just wrote a whole blog post about that, so see that here. Recap: It was amazing and I would highly recommend. If you get Jean, make sure to tell him we said hi and make sure you opt for the package with macaroons and champagne!
After the tour, we grabbed our bags, checked out of the hotel and made our way to our Airbnb. Read more about that here – it was one of the prettiest homes I’ve ever stayed in! We quickly got settled and then ran to the grocery store to pick up some snacks so that we could make a cheese board at home. Later that night, we got dressed up again and headed out for a dinner cruise on the Seine. Read about that experience here as well!
Day 4
Day 4 was our chill day lol we had very little planned during the daytime! I actually woke up early and did a photoshoot with Gabi which was amazing (I’ll add the photos here once I have them!). Brittany and Lindsay met up with us at the end so that we could do a few group shots and then we headed back to the Airbnb! We spent that day walking around, shopping and poking into cafes for wine and snacks. We also grabbed some rose and walked along the Seine!
That night, we were excited to check out Hotel Particulier in Montmartre for dinner and drinks! We had tickets to Moulin Rouge at 9pm which was about a 5 minute walk away, so it was the perfect stop. Hotel Particulier was SO good and felt like such a hidden gem in the middle of such a big city. It had a gorgeous quaint courtyard, great drinks and delicious food! I will say that it was a little pricy (think hotel prices), but we felt like it was worth it! If you go, get the espresso martini!
After dinner, we walked over to Moulin Rouge (or more so ran because we were late lol) and grabbed our seats. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I didn’t love the show! It was iconic, so that made it fun, but overall I wasn’t in love with it. There were some cool side shows and the Cancan number was a favorite, but all in all I gave it a 6/10.
Day 5
Ok, Day 5! This was a really fun day! We woke up early and hopped a train to Reims for a full day of champagne tasting! Reims is home to a ton of champagne houses (Mumm, Vueve, Ruinart just to name a few). If you want to do a day trip, make sure you make reservations at the houses you want to visit! We made ours a little late, so we just did Ruinart in Reims and then grabbed a train to Epernay to visit Moet & Chandon. The trains were all super fast and easy to use and once we were in the cities, most things were walkable or just a quick Uber!
Ruinart was my favorite stop of the day, but both champagne houses operated pretty similarly! You were greeted, had a tour of the cellars and then did a tasting. Ruinart was just a bit smaller and very personal….we also tasted a $700 bottle so I felt very fancy š
Between the two stops, we had lunch at Le Bocal, a local seafood restaurant in Reims and it did not disappoint! We had some wine and fresh seafood and just relaxed before our train!
Once we were done for the day, we headed back into Paris, quickly changed then did one final dinner at Robert. This place was SO good. For 65 euro we had 9 courses each – each better then the last and all so fresh and very creative. This was another one of our favorite meals, so don’t sleep on this spot!
Day 6
And this was the day we headed home š I cried…and cried lol it was just such a great week and I wasn’t ready to say goodbye! If you have any questions on the trip, feel free to drop them in the comments!
