Meet Lauren
Hi there! My name is Lauren and I’m a Marketing and Social Media Director by day and a New York City based Blogger by night. I was born in New Canaan, Connecticut and went to college at Towson University {go Tigers} before moving to Tallahassee, Florida for work. After three years of palm trees and tomahawk chops, I picked up one more time and moved to the live music capital of the world!
I lived in Austin for over 7 years and absolutely loved the city and all the amazing people I met there. I became fully accustomed to the breakfast taco eating, topo chico drinking, live music listening, paddle boarding way of life, but a part of me always wanted to try something new! So, in May 2021, my fiance Ben and I made the decision to move once more – so we sold all our things, jumped in the car and headed up to New York City.
We now live in a 400 square foot apartment in the heart of the West Village and we wouldn’t change a thing! Outside of exploring New York and all it has to offer, traveling is another passion of mine! I’ve been to over 30 countries, 5 continents and countless cities and want nothing more than to share tips and tricks with you that I’ve picked up along the way.
I decided to start this blog so that I could better document what I do in this incredible city of mine, my travels, and ultimately my life in hopes of connecting with others.
