Welcome to part 2 of our home tour! Today’s post is all about our bedroom decor and I’m so excited to share it with you! I’m going to break down each space and link my favorite pieces below.
When we first moved into our place, I recycled everything from our old room and just added a few small items here and there. Our old apartment had concrete floors and ceilings and the bedroom was smaller {our bed and end tables were basically wall to wall}. It was comfy and cozy and our black/beige/grey color scheme was perfect in keeping the space open and airy. Those colors are still our jam, but our room is a little larger now and is fully carpeted, so we decided to grab a few new pieces to help round out the space!
PART 1
- Bed/Night Stands: Both pieces are from West Elm and I love love love the look of them. I swear I’ll have this bed frame forever. Ben and I splurged on a few items in our apartment and this set was one of them!
- Pillows: Everyone does pillows differently, but I found that two shams, two large 20 x 20’s and then one smaller pillow was the best layout for our bed. I found these two 20 x 20 throws at At Home {similar linked below} and then the wink pillow *swoon* at Urban Outfitters.
- Duvet: Another West Elm purchase that I highly recommend. I really wanted a white duvet, but I was looking for something with a little pattern or texture to it, so this set was perfect.
- Lamps: Such a great Target find! These lamps have a similar look to ones that you’ll find at Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware, but they’re a fraction of the cost!
- Art: Minted is my go-to for statement art {learn more about them and their free design services here}. The company is incredible and they have unique pieces from artists all over the world.
- Frame: We purchased art from Minted and then a frame from Amazon to help save some money. I would suggest doing the same since their frames are pretty pricey! We purchased a snap frame and it was so easy to assemble and hang.
PART 2
- Mirror: I originally had a teeny tiny mirror over in this corner and it looked so out of place! It worked well in our old apartment, but this room just swallowed it up. I ran to Target and picked up a larger one and I think it really helps fill out the space. I actually re-purposed the old one and it’s an accent in our dining room now! Note: Our mirror is so dusty and I’m ashamed #sendwindexpls
PART 3
- Dresser: Ok, I swear by this dresser. It’s from Ikea, it’s reasonably priced and fits perfectly into any space!
- Planter/Plant: Plants are such a fun way to add a little color to your room. This specific planter from West Elm is out of stock, but I linked another one that I love! The fake plant is from Target and Ben just put some white rocks on top of it to give it more of a “we can keep plants alive and this is real” feel.
- Faux Deer Head Wall Mount: I found this item at Home Goods a few years ago and it’s been one of my favorite pieces ever since. This specific one isn’t available anymore, but I linked two similar below.
And that’s our bedroom! If you all have any home decor tips or tricks, please share them below!
Hope you all enjoyed the breakdown and keep an eye out for our living room reveal in just a few weeks.
